-Fitment:
2015.5-2016 GMC Chevy Duramax 6.6L 2500/3500 pickup with the LML engine. This kit will only fit models equipped with the OEM-style 3-bolt flange coming off of the turbo direct pipe. Race tuning is required. Will not fit Cab & Chassis trucks.
-Features:
The turbo direct pipe on some of the 2015 models has a V-band clamp instead of a 3-bolt flange. These kits will only fit models equipped with 3-bolt flange and will not work for trucks equipped with the V-band clamp off the turbo direct pipe!
The exhaust pipe is constructed from T409 stainless steel, which is commonly mistaken as non-magnetic like T304 stainless steel. However, it should be noted that T409 stainless steel remains magnetic and can be verified by its attraction to a magnet.
Installation -Installation typically takes about 1 hour using basic hand tools in the convenience of your driveway or garage, with the option for a quicker process if utilizing a car elevator. It may be necessary to trim for installation on a shorter wheelbase. The package includes clamps, hangers, and fasteners, although there may be a need to reuse some factory fasteners.
Fuel mileage - Expect a significant increase in fuel mileage. If your DPF is clogged, you probably average about 13-14 miles per hour. More or less depending on the degree of clogging. After removing the DPF/CAT, expect a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg. Big tires and poor driving habits will result in lower mileage.
Tuner required - Removal of DPF, CAT, SCR and/or DOC includes removal and elimination of emission related sensors. A tuner with DPF removal capability is required to prevent engine warning lights or diagnostic trouble codes. If you don't already have a tuner with DPF removal capability, We recommend the mini maxx tuner for TruckTok stores.
