Factory Duramax LBZ engines can suffer from airflow restrictions caused by the OEM passenger-side up-pipe, restrictive intake elbow, and EGR system. The factory up-pipe features restrictive bends and an EGR riser neck that can limit exhaust flow, while the stock intake elbow restricts airflow and the EGR system introduces soot buildup into the intake tract.
- The LBZ Package replaces these restrictive components with a smooth up-pipe, 3" high-flow intake elbow tube, and EGR delete components. This upgrade improves exhaust and intake airflow, supports better turbo response, and helps maintain a cleaner intake system.
