Oil analysis improved immediately

Bought this for our fleet's 2016 4500 flatbed — 8 trucks total. The first truck we tested showed soot at 1.2% in the oil sample before install. After the EGR delete and a tune, the next sample at 5000 miles came back at 0.1% soot. That means less abrasive wear on bearings and rings. We've since installed the kit on all 8 trucks. For a commercial fleet that runs 4000+ hours a year, this pays for itself in engine life alone.

C&C specific kit — not a repackaged pickup kit

I made the mistake of ordering a 2500 EGR kit first and nothing lined up — the cab chassis engine bay routing is different. This TruckTok kit is actually designed for the 3500 C&C / 4500 / 5500. Coolant bypass fittings are the correct AN sizes, EGR valve block-off plate clears the C&C firewall, and the instructions include chassis-cab specific notes. Finally a company that understands these trucks.

EGR cooler was leaking coolant — fixed for good

2015 Ram 5500 with 120K on the clock. EGR cooler started dumping coolant into the intake. Dealer wanted $2800 to replace it with the same failure-prone OEM part. Bought this delete kit instead. Block-off plates are 1/4-inch steel with proper gaskets, not the stamped tin junk on eBay. Coolant line plugs are brass with O-rings. Did the install over a weekend, no more coolant loss, engine runs cooler under load.
