A: Connection is straightforward using the designated ECM pins:  Route the harness through the driver-side firewall grommet to the ECM.  Insert the Blue Wire into Pin 69 of the gray ECM connector.  Insert the Black Wire into Pin 49 of the gray ECM connector.

Q: Where should I mount the selector switch in my cab?

A: It is highly versatile.  Most owners choose to mount the switch on the lower dashboard panel, inside the center console, or onto a custom switch pod. Only a small hole needs to be drilled to secure the switch shaft.

Q: Can I use this switch on a 2004.5 or newer Duramax (LLY/LBZ)?

A: No, this specific model is only for 01–04 LB7 engines. Other generations use different ECM pin locations and wiring configurations, 04.5 - 05 model purchased dedicated SOTF Switch.
