DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • Factory 6.7L Cummins engines can suffer from exhaust restriction, intake limitations, and increased heat from the factory emissions system. The stock downpipe, catalytic converter, and DPF restrict exhaust flow, while the EGR system introduces soot into the intake and the throttle valve limits airflow before the manifold.
  • The Cummins Package addresses these restrictions with a 5" turbo-back exhaust, EGR & throttle valve delete,This complete airflow upgrade helps reduce restriction, improve exhaust and intake flow, and deliver a deeper diesel exhaust tone.

Key Features

  • Turbo-Back Exhaust System: Replaces the stock exhaust system right from the turbo exhaust housing down, providing maximum exhaust CFM capacity and the ultimate deep diesel exhaust note.
  • EGR Cooler & Valve Removal: Removes the OEM EGR cooler assembly, stopping hot soot recirculation and eliminating internal coolant leak risks.
  • Lowest EGTs & Maximum Turbo Spool: The 5" turbo-back diameter rapidly draws hot exhaust gases away from the turbocharger, lowering towing EGTs and reducing boost lag.
  • High-Flow Throttle Valve Delete Tube: Replaces the restrictive OEM butterfly valve body with a straight-through tube to maximize clean, pressurized intake airflow CFM.

FAQ

Q: What is the difference between a 4" DPF-Back/Race Pipe and this 5" Turbo-Back System?

A: Race pipe only replaces the factory DPF section while keeping the stock downpipe. The 5" Turbo-Back system replaces the full exhaust from the turbo to the tailpipe, including the downpipe, for improved airflow and a deeper diesel exhaust tone.

Q: Will a 5" Turbo-Back exhaust pipe fit easily without hitting the transmission or frame?

A: Yes. Our 5" turbo-back system uses precision mandrel bends engineered specifically for 2013–2018 RAM Pickup trucks. When aligned during installation, it provides plenty of clearance around the transmission crossmember and pickup frame rails.

Q: Is installing the 5" Turbo Downpipe harder than installing a standard DPF race pipe?

A: Yes, slightly. Installing a Turbo-Back system requires removing the factory downpipe directly off the turbocharger exhaust housing in the tight engine bay space, whereas a DPF race pipe only replaces the mid-section underneath the truck.

Q: Can I use a generic off-the-shelf tuner, or do I need custom delete software?

A: You must use custom delete tuning (such as EZ LYNK or Minimaxx tuner flashed with delete-capable software). Standard emissions-compliant tuners (like Edge Insight or basic street tuners) cannot turn off the DPF/EGR sensors or clear limp mode.
