A: BSM (Blind Spot Monitoring) is a safety system that warns you when a vehicle is in your blind spot. These mirrors include the integrated BSM indicator light — it plugs into your factory BSM harness and illuminates when the system detects a vehicle alongside you. Your Ram must have factory BSM for this to function.
Q: Will these fit my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic?
A: No. These mirrors are designed for the 5th Generation New Body Style Ram 1500 (2019–2022). The Ram 1500 Classic is a 4th Gen carryover with different door stampings and mounting points. If you have a Classic, these will not fit.
Q: Does the temperature sensor prevent check engine lights?
A: Yes. The driver-side mirror’s ambient air temperature sensor communicates using the same protocol as the factory unit, preventing the false temperature readings and error codes that can trigger when replacing a factory sensor-equipped mirror with one that lacks it.
Q: Do these have the in-glass red LED turn arrows?
A: This model uses amber LED turn signals mounted in the mirror housing — not in-glass red arrows. The turn signal and puddle/courtesy lights provide forward and downward visibility without glass-embedded indicators.
