Q: How is the flip-up mechanism different from telescopic mirrors?
A: Instead of sliding outward horizontally, these mirrors flip upward vertically to create a taller field of view for towing. Flip them up when you need the extra height behind a trailer, flip them down for normal driving. No sliding arms — just a hinge mechanism.
Q: Do these mirrors have LED turn signals or running lights?
A: No. This model includes power-adjust glass, heated defrost, manual flip-up extension, manual folding, and an integrated corner lens. There are no LED turn signals, running lights, or backup lights.
Q: Are these plug-and-play on my Ram?
A: Yes — if your truck was factory-equipped with power mirrors and heated mirrors. These use your existing door harness connectors. If your Ram only has manual mirrors or lacks the heated option, custom wiring will be required. Check your build sheet before ordering.
Q: Will these fit my 2009+ Ram?
A: No. These mirrors fit 2002–2008 Ram 1500 and 2003–2009 Ram 2500/3500. The 2009 Ram 1500 was a complete redesign (4th generation) with different door stampings and mounting points. If you have a 2009+ Ram 1500, these will not fit.
