DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • This dual-air filtration combo provides complete intake protection for 2020–2025 6.6L Duramax trucks, refreshing both your engine’s intake airflow and passenger cabin HVAC system in a single package.
  • Tailored for heavy-duty towing, off-road jobsites, and daily highway driving, the high-flow engine air filter minimizes airbox restriction to support responsive turbocharger boost, while the multi-layer cabin air filter captures airborne dust, pollen, and road fumes before they enter the cab. It is the ideal 2-in-1 maintenance set for truck owners who service liquid filters on an independent schedule and want both air pathways updated in one simple order.

Key Features

  • Industrial-grade filter media effectively traps fine silica, road dust, and airborne debris to protect engine intake efficiency.
  • High-tensile silicone perimeter seal creates a tight compression fit inside the airbox that stays securely seated during heavy chassis flex and off-road vibration.
  • Electrostatic cabin media holds a consistent charge to attract and hold fine dust, pollen, and diesel exhaust particles for cleaner cab air.
  • Optimized pleat spacing allows deep debris storage across the entire surface area without restricting air volume to your HVAC vents.
  • Comprehensive 2-in-1 combo streamlines your service routine by allowing you to update both engine intake and interior climate air filters in a single maintenance session.

Replacement Interval

  • Inspect the engine air filter at 15,000 miles with replacement by 30,000 miles (15,000–20,000 miles under severe duty), and replace the cabin air filter every 12,000–15,000 miles (or annually). Because modern automatic climate control systems rely on unrestricted airflow to maintain cabin temperatures, keeping a fresh cabin filter installed prevents extra strain on the blower motor and maintains strong vent airflow year-round.

FAQ

Q: Will installing these filters interfere with sensitive intake sensors or trigger a Check Engine light?

A: No. Both filters are precision-molded to factory dimensions, ensuring an airtight seal that maintains normal intake airflow and pressure readings without disrupting mass airflow (MAF) sensors or setting off diagnostic codes.

Q: Can I blow out the engine air filter with compressed air to extend its life between changes?

A: We advise against using high-pressure compressed air. While it removes large debris, the air pressure can tear or expand the micro-pleats, compromising filtration accuracy. Gentle tapping to dislodge loose dirt is fine, but replacement is recommended once the media is loaded.

Q: Will driving in heavy rain or humid conditions damage or saturate the engine air filter paper?

A: No. The filter media utilizes a moisture-resistant synthetic blend that resists water saturation and prevents the pleats from collapsing or tearing during wet weather or heavy rain highway driving.

Q: Does the electrostatic charge in the cabin filter wear out over time?

A: No. The electrostatic charge is permanently infused into the synthetic fibers during manufacturing. It remains active throughout the filter’s service life, continuously attracting fine dust and particles without degrading from humidity or age.

Q: Ready to add the fluid filters for a complete 2020+ service?

A: The Air, Cabin & Oil Kit adds the PF26 oil filter. For full four-filter coverage, use the Full Maintenance Kit.

TP1015 fuel, PF26 oil, A3248C air: the L5P trifecta

2021 Silverado 3500. This three-filter kit covers the TP1015 fuel filter, PF26 oil filter, and A3248C engine air filter. All three are the same quality as the ACDelco parts at a better price. The TP1015 has the visible water-separating membrane, the PF26 has crimped end caps, and the A3248C seals the airbox perfectly. The only thing missing is the cabin filter. If you do not care about cab air quality, this is the kit.

A3248C engine air plus CF185 cabin: breathe clean inside and out

2020 Silverado 2500. This combo pairs the L5P engine and cabin air filters. The A3248C is the correct 2020+ Gen 2 air filter and the CF185 has activated carbon that keeps road dust out of the HVAC. The A3248C foam seal fills the airbox channel and the lid latches tight. The CF185 clicks into the housing behind the glovebox in seconds. Two filters that are easy to forget, one box to remember.

TP1015 fuel filter plus PF26 oil filter: the CP4 defense combo

2023 Silverado 3500. The L5P CP4.2 pump demands clean fuel and clean oil. This TruckTok combo covers both with a TP1015 fuel/water separator and PF26 oil filter. The TP1015 has the water-coalescing Aquabloc membrane. The PF26 is the L5P cartridge with the correct bypass valve. I change fuel at 15K and oil at 7500 miles. Fuel pressure is steady and Blackstone oil reports are clean. Two critical filters, one box.

PF26: L5P oil filter, not the LML PF2232

2021 GMC Sierra 2500. The L5P uses the PF26 oil filter cartridge, a different size and bypass spec from the LML PF2232. This TruckTok PF26 has the correct height, diameter, and center tube for the L5P oil filter housing. The cap O-ring is included and seats properly. I run Mobil Delvac 15W-40 at 7500-mile intervals and the filter holds up with no media collapse. The L5P holds 10 quarts. Quality oil and a quality filter are the minimum.

L5P complete filter kit: TP1015, PF26, A3248C, CF185

2020 Silverado 2500. This is the complete L5P filter kit: TP1015 fuel/water separator, PF26 oil filter, A3248C engine air filter, and CF185 cabin air filter. The TP1015 has the same Racor-spec media as the ACDelco TP1015 that is the number one best seller on Amazon. The PF26 oil filter fits the L5P housing perfectly. Everything in one box. Dealer would charge over $350 for this service. DIY with TruckTok filters in under an hour. Save the money for diesel.

L5P triple combo: TP1015 fuel, A3248C air, CF185 cabin

2021 Silverado 2500. Three critical L5P filters in one box. The TP1015 fuel filter is the exact same 10-micron Aquabloc spec as the ACDelco that dominates Amazon. The A3248C is the correct 2020+ Gen 2 L5P air filter, taller than the earlier L5P filter. The CF185 cabin filter has activated carbon. Dealer charges close to $200 for just these three filters. TruckTok price is about half. One box, three filters, 15-minute service.

CF185 cabin filter with carbon: keep the dust and diesel out

2022 Silverado 2500. The CF185 cabin filter on the L5P is a different size from the LML cabin filter. This TruckTok version has an activated carbon layer that the base ACDelco filter does not include. Farm roads kick up a lot of dust and the cabin filter catches it all. Changed at 20K miles and the old filter was grey with dirt. The new one clicks in behind the glovebox in 30 seconds. Your lungs will thank you.

A3248C: 2020+ L5P air filter, not the pre-2020 style

2022 GMC Denali HD. The 2020 facelift gave the L5P a taller air filter, A3248C, that does not interchange with the 2017-2019 filter. This TruckTok replacement has the correct height and the perimeter foam seal compresses evenly into the airbox channel. The dry synthetic media does not coat the MAF sensor. At 20K miles the clean side is spotless. Make sure you get A3248C for 2020+ L5P.

A3248C air, CF185 cabin, PF26 oil: three filters, one click

2023 Silverado 3500. This combo pairs the A3248C Gen 2 air filter, CF185 cabin filter, and PF26 oil filter. The PF26 oil filter is the L5P-specific cartridge that replaced the old PF2232 from the LML. It has the correct bypass valve for the L5P's higher oil flow rate. The cartridge drops into the housing cleanly and the new cap O-ring seals. Air, cabin, and oil covered in one box. Add a TP1015 fuel filter and you have the full set.
