Q: Do both filters in this combo feature built-in seals for a direct drop-in fit?
A: Yes. Both the engine air filter and cabin air filter come with precision-molded perimeter seals engineered to match factory housing tolerances. They drop directly into your truck's original airboxes without requiring any modifications or additional sealing gaskets.
Q: Is this combo enough for a complete service or do I need the fluid filters too?
A: This covers the air filtration side — engine intake and cabin. You’ll still need fuel and oil filters separately to complete a full service. This combo is ideal when you’ve recently done your fluid filters but haven’t addressed the air filters.
Q: How do I access and install the cabin air filter on my truck?
A: The cabin air filter housing is located behind the glovebox. Simply drop the glovebox door by releasing the side retaining tabs, unclip the filter access cover, slide out the old panel, and insert the new filter with the printed airflow arrows pointing downward toward the blower motor.
Q: Will replacing a dirty cabin air filter eliminate musty A/C odors?
A: Yes. Over time, trapped moisture and dust on an old cabin filter can cause stale, musty smells when you turn on the air conditioning. Installing a fresh activated carbon filter neutralizes these trapped odors and keeps the cab air smelling clean.
Q: Adding fuel or oil filtration to this combo?
A: The Air, Cabin & Fuel Kit adds the TP3018 fuel filter. The Air, Cabin & Oil Kit adds the PF2232 oil filter instead.
