A: The OEM design uses thin, unreinforced single-layer bellows without internal sleeves. Driven by extreme thermal cycling, the exhaust manifolds drastically expand and contract, causing these weak bellows to quickly fatigue, split, and leak.

A: Pre-turbo leaks (up-pipe) sound like a sharp, high-pitched whistle or ticking hiss that intensifies under acceleration, whereas post-turbo leaks (downpipe/cat-back) produce a much deeper, pulsing, or chuffing noise.
Q: What should I do with the factory sensors during installation?
