FITMENT

  • 2008-2010 6.4L Ford Powerstroke F-250 / F-350 / F-450 / F-550 Super Duty Diesel V8 Truck.
  • Fits both standard pickup beds and Cab & Chassis commercial style trucks.

DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • The 2008–2010 6.4L Ford has several common weak points. Cracked up-pipe bellows can cause exhaust leaks and reduced turbo response, while EGR cooler failures and restrictive DPF systems can affect airflow and reliability.
  • Factory emission components can increase exhaust restriction, operating temperatures, and maintenance concerns over time, making these areas key targets for upgrades.
Key Features
  • Eliminates Boost Leaks & Cracks: Heavy-duty T-304 SS up-pipes feature inner-interlocking braided flex bellows to handle intense heat expansion without splitting.
  • Reduces EGTs & Stops DPF Regens: 4" mandrel-bent straight pipe removes the restrictive DPF/Cat, stopping active regeneration cycles and drastically lowering exhaust temperatures.
  • Prevents Intake Soot & Coolant Loss: Completely removes both factory EGR coolers, preventing carbon sludge from entering the intake and eliminating coolant leak risks.
  • Saves Hundreds in Shop Labor: Combining the exhaust, up-pipe, and EGR work into a single installation eliminates duplicate labor behind the cramped 6.4L firewall.

FAQ

Q: What problems does the 6.4L Powerstroke Complete Kit solve?

A: This kit addresses common 6.4L Ford issues including restrictive factory exhaust components, cracked up-pipe bellows, and EGR system-related problems. It helps improve exhaust flow, turbo response, and long-term reliability.

Q: Why should I buy this 3-in-1 Bundle instead of individual kits?

A: Replacing up-pipes and removing EGR coolers requires major teardown at the firewall. Adding the 4" exhaust delete simultaneously saves substantial shop labor while guaranteeing seamless fitment and clearance.

Q: Will this kit prevent my 6.4L from going into active regeneration?

A: Yes. Once the 4" delete pipe and EGR delete are installed alongside custom ECM tuning, the truck will no longer perform DPF regeneration cycles, saving diesel fuel and preventing fuel dilution in engine oil.

Q: Does this kit fit F-450 and F-550 Chassis Cab models?

A: The EGR delete components and up-pipes are direct bolt-on. However, F-450/F-550 Chassis Cab models may require minor exhaust adjustments due to different wheelbases and frame configurations.

Great pipe — requires a tuner (obviously)

Pipe quality is excellent — fits my 2009 F-250 with zero issues. Knocking one star because the product description could be clearer about the tuner requirement. If you're new to the 6.4 platform you might not know that deleting the DPF requires an ECM flash. Had to park the truck for two days while I waited for my tuner to arrive. Plan ahead.

Thick stainless — holding up to Northeast salt

2008 F-250 plow truck in Massachusetts. I've been through three factory exhaust sections from road salt rot. This 304 stainless pipe has been on for one full winter and there is zero surface rust. The welds are still clean. This is the only exhaust pipe that has survived a season on this truck. Buy once cry once.

F-550 dump truck — finally reliable

We run a 2010 F-550 dump in our landscaping fleet. The truck was constantly in regeneration, burning fuel and losing power on job sites. Installed this pipe six months ago. Zero regens since. The engine oil doesn't smell like diesel anymore and the truck actually pulls grades now without downshifting three times. This should have been the first mod we did.

Dealer wanted $4200 to replace the DPF

My 2009 F-450 service truck cracked the DPF substrate at 110K miles. Ford quoted $4200 for a new DPF assembly — more than the truck is worth at this point. Spent a fraction of that on this pipe and an SCT tuner. Truck runs cooler, gets 3 more mpg, and I'm not dumping diesel into my crankcase anymore.

Flanges matched the 6.4 turbo outlet perfectly

The 6.4L has a unique V-band flange at the turbo that's different from the 6.0 and the 6.7. This pipe has the correct flange geometry. Bolted right up to my 2008 F-250. No adapter plate, no grinding, no leaks. Used high-temp anti-seize on the V-band like the instructions said and it torqued down tight.

6.4L owners — this pipe saves your engine

The 6.4 Powerstroke is infamous for DPF regens dumping fuel into the oil. That leads to cylinder washdown and catastrophic failure. This pipe + a tune stops the regens completely. 2010 F-350 with 98K miles and my oil analysis came back clean for the first time since I bought the truck. If you own a 6.4 you need this.
