Q: How do I know which generation is mine?
A: Match your Super Duty's model year. 1999–2007, 2008–2016, or 2017–2020. The door mounting pattern changed in 2008 and again in 2017, so each generation is a physically different fit.
Q: Does the BSM indicator work without factory blind-spot monitoring?
A: No. The triangle BSM indicator plugs into your factory blind-spot monitoring harness and only illuminates when the system detects a vehicle in your blind spot. Your Super Duty must have factory BSM for this feature to function.
Q: Will the temperature sensor prevent error codes?
A: Yes. The built-in ambient temperature sensor (2017–2020) uses the same protocol as the factory unit, preventing false temperature readings and error codes.
Q: Are these plug-and-play?
A: Yes — if your truck was factory-equipped with power mirrors, heated mirrors, turn signals, and running lights. Missing factory options will require custom wiring.
Q: Do the amber LEDs work as both running lights and turn signals?
A: Yes. The dual-stack LED array operates as steady amber running/clearance lights, and one layer flashes brighter as a turn signal when activated.
