Q: What's the difference between the 1994–2002 Manual and 1998–2002 Power + Heated versions?
A: The Manual version is a bolt-on mechanical replacement with zero electronics. The Power + Heated version adds power-adjust glass and heated defrost. If your truck has factory power mirrors, pick the Power + Heated option to keep those functions.
Q: Will the 2009–2018 variant fit my 2019+ Ram 1500?
A: Only if you have the Ram 1500 Classic — the carryover 4th-generation body style produced through 2024. It does not fit the 2019+ New Body Style (5th Gen). For the New Body, choose the 2019–2022 (5th Gen) variant.
Q: Does the BSM indicator work without factory blind-spot monitoring?
A: No. The BSM indicator (5th Gen) plugs into your factory BSM harness and only illuminates when the system detects a vehicle. Your Ram must have factory BSM for it to function.
Q: Does the temperature sensor prevent error codes?
A: Yes. The driver-side ambient temperature sensor (4th/5th Gen) uses the original factory protocol, preventing false readings and check-engine lights.
Q: Do the Manual mirrors require any wiring?
A: No. The Manual variant is fully mechanical — no power, no heat, no lights. Just unbolt the old mirrors and bolt these on.
