Q: What’s the difference between “2007 Classic” and “2007 New Body”?
A: The 2007 Classic uses the GMT800 platform (rounded front, same as 2003–2006). The 2007 New Body is GMT900 (sharper lines, taller grille). These mirrors only fit the Classic.
Q: Do these fit my 2003–2006 Tahoe / Suburban / Yukon?
A: Yes. Same door mounting pattern and harness across 2003–2006 Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche, Yukon, and Yukon XL. Direct bolt-on.
Q: Will the LED lights work on a truck this old?
A: Yes — if your truck was optioned with power mirrors, heat, and turn signals from the factory. These use the existing harness. If your truck lacks any of those, custom wiring is required for that specific function.
Q: How do these compare to the factory mirrors on my 2003–2006 truck?
A: The stock GMT800 mirrors are small and unheated on most trims, with no LED lighting or telescopic extension. This set adds heated glass, LED turn signals and running lights, white backup LEDs, and dual-arm telescopic extension — substantially more glass area and function.
Q: What if I need a different feature set or generation?
A: For the same 2003–2006 platform without the LED lighting, grab our GMT800 essential set. On a 2007–2014 GMT900? See our GMT900 premium mirrors. Browse all options in our full mirror collection.
