FITMENT

  • 2013–2018 6.7L Dodge Ram Cummins 2500 & 3500 Pickup Turbo Diesel.

  • Does NOT fit trucks equipped with the factory-optional Rear Air Suspension or commercial Cab & Chassis (4500/5500) models.

DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • Factory 6.7L Cummins engines can suffer from exhaust restriction, intake limitations, and increased heat from the factory emissions system. The stock downpipe, catalytic converter, and DPF restrict exhaust flow, while the EGR system introduces soot into the intake and the throttle valve limits airflow before the manifold.
  • The Cummins Package addresses these restrictions with a 5" turbo-back exhaust, EGR & throttle valve delete,This complete airflow upgrade helps reduce restriction, improve exhaust and intake flow, and deliver a deeper diesel exhaust tone.

Key Features

  • Turbo-Back Exhaust System: Replaces the stock exhaust system right from the turbo exhaust housing down, providing maximum exhaust CFM capacity and the ultimate deep diesel exhaust note.
  • EGR Cooler & Valve Removal: Removes the OEM EGR cooler assembly, stopping hot soot recirculation and eliminating internal coolant leak risks.
  • Lowest EGTs & Maximum Turbo Spool: The 5" turbo-back diameter rapidly draws hot exhaust gases away from the turbocharger, lowering towing EGTs and reducing boost lag.
  • CCV Reroute System: Redirects crankcase oil vapor away from the turbo inlet, helping reduce oil buildup in the turbo, intercooler, and intake system.

FAQ

Q: How loud will my truck be with this 5" Turbo-Back straight-pipe system?

A: It will be significantly louder with a deep, aggressive diesel tone and very pronounced turbo whistle. If you prefer a quieter ride or tow heavy long-distance without drone, we recommend adding an inline 5" performance muffler.

Q: Does replacing the factory throttle body with a Throttle Valve Delete tube affect cold weather starts?

A: No. Cold weather starting is controlled by the Cummins grid heater and fuel system. The factory throttle valve mainly helps manage EGR operation, regeneration cycles, and engine shutdown.

Q: Do I need to buy a separate exhaust tip for this 5" Turbo-Back system?

A: The system terminates with a raw 5" stainless steel tailpipe exit. While functional as-is, most owners add an aftermarket 5" to 7" bolt-on exhaust tip to protect the rear bumper finish and give the truck a finished, aggressive look.

Q: Why choose 409 Stainless Steel over Aluminized Steel for a 5" Turbo-Back pipe?

A: 5" pipes sit close to road splash and wheel spray. Unlike Aluminized steel which can rust through quickly when scratched by road debris or salt, 409 Stainless Steel provides lifetime structural integrity and handles extreme heat expansion without structural degradation.
