DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • Take full, instantaneous control over your truck’s power profiles. The 5-Position SOTF Switch is custom-engineered for 2011–2016 GM Duramax 6.6L LML engines running switchable multi-map tunes.
  • No more pulling over to flash a single tune. Simply click the heavy-duty aluminum dial to instantly shift between 5 pre-loaded driving modes—adjusting horsepower, torque, and transmission parameters on the go.
Key Features
  • High-Temp Braided Loom: The harness is wrapped in a premium, heat-resistant, self-extinguishing tube that withstands extreme engine bay temperatures without melting or wearing out.
  • Billet Aluminum Knob: Features an upgraded, CNC-machined aluminum knob with a tactile texture for a confident grip and an upscale look over flimsy plastic.
  • Instant Shift-On-The-Fly: Cycle through 5 custom-tuned settings (Stock/Eco, Light Tow, Heavy Tow, Street, or Race) in less than a second while driving.
  • Pre-Terminated OEM Pins: Factory-style pins slide directly into your ECM connector for a clean install with no wire cutting or soldering.

FAQ

Q: What does this 5-position switch do?

A: This switch allows you to select between compatible SOTF power levels while driving. It does not create horsepower on its own—it simply selects the power level programmed into your custom tune.

Q: Can I change tunes while driving or under acceleration?

A: Yes, you can change positions on the fly. The ECM switches maps instantly, but we recommend letting off the gas pedal for a split second when jumping to a high-horsepower map to avoid sudden mechanical shock to your transmission.

Q: Does this switch work on a stock truck?

A: No. A compatible SOTF custom tune must already be installed. The switch will not function with the factory calibration.

Q: Does this switch require external power?

A: No, the switch operates as a passive resistor network, drawing its low-voltage signal directly from the factory ECM connector. You do not need to splice into the fuse box, battery, or ignition wiring.
