Product Overview
Key Features
Q: Will this trigger a check engine light?
A: No. The kit retains the factory MAF sensor in its original housing location, so the stock ECU reads airflow accurately. All PCV and breather connections are properly integrated for CEL-free operation.
Q: Is an intake worth it on a stock engine without a tune?
A: Absolutely. The factory airbox is overly restrictive. This high-flow system delivers sharper throttle response and smoother acceleration right out of the box — no custom tuning required.
Q: Does the heat shield actually make a difference?
A: Yes. Under-hood temperatures run extremely hot. The steel heat shield creates a physical barrier that isolates the filter from engine heat, so your engine draws cooler, denser air from the front grille instead of hot engine-bay air.
Q: Will I lose low-end torque with a larger intake tube?
A: No. The tube diameter is optimized to preserve intake air velocity at low engine speeds while removing restriction at high RPM — stronger response across the entire powerband.
Q: Will this fit if I have a body lift?
A: In most cases, yes. The intake tube mounts to the throttle body, so body lifts generally don't affect fitment. The heat shield mounts to factory inner fender points — if your lift alters that position significantly, minor bracket adjustment may be needed.
