A: The layout is completely different. The LLY requires bypassing a buried cooler and has different flange shapes. The LBZ kit includes dual billet block-off plates with built-in O-ring seals that fit the LBZ’s specific dual-intake design perfectly. Always buy the kit matching your exact model year.
Q: Will I get a Check Engine Light on my LBZ after installing this?
A: Yes. Removing the EGR valve on an LBZ will throw emission-related diagnostic codes. You must use an aftermarket tuner with an EGR-delete tune to disable the codes and prevent the truck from going into "limp mode."
Q: Why does this kit include an "Intake Support Bracket"?
