Product Overview
Q: Will this High-Flow Intake Elbow connect to my aftermarket cold side intercooler pipe?
A: Yes. Our High-Flow Elbow is designed to match the factory connection specs. It will fit perfectly with stock cold side pipe or any aftermarket intercooler pipe designed to connect to the factory intake elbow.
Q: Where does my factory MAP sensor go after deleting the EGR?
A: It stays right where it belongs. On the LLY and LBZ engines, the MAP sensor is located on the intake bridge, not on the EGR components themselves. Our kit is designed to fully clear and accommodate the factory MAP sensor bracket, meaning you don't have to splice, extend, or modify any of your sensor's electrical wiring.
Q: Which exhaust upgrade do you recommend?
A: To maximize your EGR delete, we highly recommend pairing it with our 4" or 5" DP-Back Exhaust Pipe. This straight-pipe upgrade replaces the restrictive factory CAT and muffler, dropping EGTs by another 150°F, unleashing instant turbo spool-up, and giving your Duramax that deep, classic growl.
Q: Do I need to replace my passenger-side Up-Pipe when deleting the EGR?
A: Yes. stock up-pipe has an EGR branch. Simply blocking it off traps exhaust pressure, which eventually cracks the fragile metal bellows (flex section) and causes a major exhaust leak. Replacing it with an EGR-delete Up-Pipe eliminates this failure point permanently.
