A: No. The "Turbo Mouthpiece" sits on the turbo's intake inlet.This kit replaces the Intake Elbow on the pressure side feeding the manifold. Doing both is the ultimate airflow combo.
Q: Should I do a PCV Re-route at the same time as this install?
A: Yes. The stock PCV dumps oily vapor into your intake, which mixes with EGR soot to form a thick, engine-choking sludge. Doing a PCV reroute now keeps your new High-Flow Elbow and intake completely clean and oil-free.
Q: Do I need to drain the entire cooling system to install this kit?
A: No, a full drain is not required. You only need to drain about 1 to 2 gallons of coolant from the radiator petcock to lower the coolant level below the EGR cooler. This prevents coolant from spilling onto your engine block when you disconnect the heater core and bypass hoses.
