Step 1 :

Loosen the flange that secures the downpipe and DPF/exhaust pipe assembly. Remove all factory plugs and ventilation holes from the diesel particulate filter, tie them to the truck frame or remove them from the clamp connection.

Step 2 :

Install the drain pipe using the original fixture and connect the drain pipe flange. Press thedownward flange to secure the pipeline, but the pipeline can still move.

Step 3 :

1.Install pipe #2 Connect one end of the sloping surface to the tail end of the # 1 downpipe and tighten it loosely with a fixture.
2.Connect the U-shaped tube of the pipe #3 to the end of the pipe #2 , and loosely clamp it with a fixture.

Step 4 :

Install the muffler replacement pipe #4 in front of the #6 axle pipe and the #7 tailpipe, and select the appropriate extension pipe #5 according to the wheelbase. Cut the extension pipe according to the needs of the vehicle body.

Step 5 :

Starting from pipeline #1, tighten the vortex band clamp and continue tightening until the rear connection is reached, checking the gap during tightening.

Step 6 :

1.Install the bracket. The M10 bolt will be screwed into the support bolt. Secure the transmission dipstick to the bracket using 1/4-20 bolts, nuts, and washers.
2.The bracket will hold the coolant hose connector in place.

Q: Will this fit my 2001-2004 LB7 truck?

A: Yes. This pipe fits all 01-07 Chevy/GMC Silverado 2500/3500 and Sierra HD with 6.6L Duramax LB7, LLY, and LBZ engines (Crew Cab Short Bed and Long Bed). It does NOT fit Cab & Chassis trucks.

Q: My LLY suffers from severe heat issues. Will this fix it?
