FAQ

Q:Can I install this pipe without a tuner, or will it throw codes?

A:No, a tuner is required. Removed the factory exhaust eliminates the emissions sensors. must install a compatible delete tune to prevent a Check Engine Light or "Limp Mode." Mini Maxx Tuner V2 to shut off the sensors, clear all codes.

Q:What should I do with the DEF tank after installing

A:Once your truck is tuned and this pipe is installed, the DEF system is completely disabled. You can leave the DEF tank on the truck empty, or completely unbolt and remove the tank to save weight and clear up under-truck space.

Q:Do I need to re-install or plug in factory exhaust sensors into pipe?

A:No. This is a straight pipe without sensor bungs. Once tuned truck, your computer turns off these sensors. You can simply unplug and remove the factory harness, or safely zip-tie it out of the way.

Q:Will this 4" pipe make my truck louder, or do I need a 4" or 5" full exhaust for that?
