FITMENT

  • Truck intake manifold EGR and EVAP block off complete kit. For use with all LS truck.

DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • GM LS-series engines (5.3L and 6.0L) equipped with factory EGR and EVAP systems can recirculate hot exhaust gases and contaminants into the intake. Over time, this can contribute to carbon buildup, reduced airflow, and decreased engine efficiency.
  • The LS EGR & EVAP Block Off Plate Kit provides a clean solution for intake swaps, engine conversions, and off-road builds. Made from precision-machined billet aluminum, these plates seal unused EGR and EVAP ports to simplify the engine bay and prevent unwanted leaks.

Key Features

  • CNC Billet Aluminum Construction: Precision-machined from high-strength billet aluminum to withstand engine bay heat, vibration, and daily driving conditions.
  • Exhaust EGR Port Block-Off: Seals the unused exhaust manifold EGR port to help prevent exhaust leaks, soot buildup, and unwanted noise after EGR removal.
  • Reliable Exhaust Sealing Surface: Features a precision-machined flat surface for secure contact with the factory exhaust manifold flange.
  • Clean Engine Bay Design: Removes the bulky OEM EGR crossover tube for a cleaner and simplified LS engine compartment.

FAQ

Q: Does this item include the mounting bracket or bolts?

A: This plate caps only the intake port. To fully seal your system, you also need plates for the exhaust manifold and EVAP solenoid. check out LS EGR & EVAP Baffle Kit.

Q: Where does this exhaust EGR block-off plate install on my LS engine?

A: It installs on the factory exhaust manifold EGR port where the OEM metal EGR crossover tube connects. Remove the factory tube, position the plate over the port, and secure it using the proper hardware.

Q: What happens after removing the factory EGR crossover pipe?

A: Removing the crossover pipe eliminates the unused exhaust gas passage. This plate seals the open exhaust manifold port to maintain a clean and properly sealed engine bay.
