-Fit:
2011-2014 6.7L Powerstroke Engines.
-Feature:
The internal lubricant of the CP4 pump is provided by the diesel in the oil tank. After lubricating the crankcase area of the CP4 pump, the fuel enters the high-pressure pump chamber and is discharged under pressure into the fuel lines and fuel injectors. The weakness of the CP4 hydraulic pump lies in the crankcase area, where a set of roller pushrods is installed on the camshaft. Once a fault occurs, the lubricating fuel will be immediately contaminated. Our bypass kit is installed on the CP4 pump, changing the flow direction of the fuel, so that the lubricating fuel from the crankcase will flow back to the oil tank, pass through filtration, and then enter the fuel system.
Therefore, the fuel entering the CP4 pump and the fuel subsequently delivered to the injectors will both pass through the vehicle's two fuel filters first, to ensure that no fuel contamination occurs due to the failure of the high-pressure pump.
This one-time investment can save over $9,000 in maintenance costs and also prevent weeks of equipment downtime. For any owner of a 6.7L Paloma engine, this is definitely essential!
