Q: How do I get the tune files after I purchase?
A: It is 100% cloud-based and completely hassle-free. After you submit your order, our engineering team will reach out to you via email to collect your truck VIN, Year, and Model. We will build your custom configuration within 24 business hours and push it directly to your EZ LYNK cloud account. From there, simply open the smartphone app, tap to accept, and flash your truck!
Q: Do I need to buy a separate Transmission Tune (TCM)?
A: No, you do not need to pay extra! our package automatically includes custom TCM calibration for all eligible models for free. This increases clutch line pressure, stops transmission slippage under load, and delivers much crisper, smoother shifts.
Q: Do I need to keep the EZ LYNK device plugged into my truck at all times?
A: No. Once flashed to 100%, the tune is permanently saved to your truck's ECU. You can safely unplug the device. However, you must leave it plugged in if you want to use your phone as a live digital dashboard (to monitor EGTs) or use an SOTF switch to change power levels while driving.
Q: What are the 5 power levels and how should I use them?
A: Our custom tuning includes 5 stages for different driving needs:
Level 1: Heavy Tow (+30-50 HP) – Safest setting with lowest EGTs for hauling max weight.
Level 2: Light Tow (+50-85 HP) – Perfect for lighter loads under 8,000 lbs (boats, campers).
Level 3: Eco / Daily (+80-100 HP) – Most popular. Built for maximum fuel economy (MPG) and clean daily driving.
Level 4: Street (+120-150 HP) – Quick throttle response and high performance for fun, unloaded driving.
Level 5: Max Effort (+150-200+ HP) – All-out power for track or dyno. Upgraded transmission recommended.
