A: The switch itself is an accessory meant for modified vehicles running custom tuning software. Because it operates within the voltage parameters assigned by your custom tuner, it will not trigger a CEL as long as the correct SOTF software file is flashed onto your truck.

Q: Can I use this switch if I am running a single "box" tune or a stock file?

A: No. If your truck is completely stock or running a single-stage horsepower tune, this switch will have no effect. It requires a dedicated multi-level SOTF/DST tune file to be loaded onto the vehicle's ECM first.

Q: Is the wire length long enough to reach from the engine bay to my dashboard?
