How it Installation?

Step 1 :

1.Disconnect Batteries ,Drain coolant.
2.Connect the bracket in the kit to the black filter quick pass through two holes with bolts and tighten with a wrench.

Step 2 :

1.Use a 13/16ā€ or cresent wrench to install ¼ turn ball valves to coolant fi ltration block. Do not apply thread seal tape.
2.Install coolant lines to the ball valves. The long hose with the no fi tting on one end goes in the top of the coolant block. Be sure to apply thread sealing tape in the correct direction to the threads.

Step 3 :

1.Wet O-ring on filter with coolant and install onto coolant block hand tight.
2.Using 8mm Socket remove the 2 bolts on the driver side radiator support. Place the coolant filter assembly in place and re-install the two bolts snug but not tight.

Step 4 :

Cut the line going into the driver side of the degas bottle (radiator overfl owtank). Using the two remaining size 6 hose clamps secure the brass T-fi tting into the cut ends of hose.

Step 5 :

1.RefIll the coolant system to factory specifi cation. Be sure the coolant fi lter valves are in the open position. Note: The valve handle should parallel with the ball valve.
2.Run the engine and check for leaks. After your fi rst drive double check the fi ttings for leaks and refill coolant as needed.

Step 6 :

1.Install the bracket. The M10 bolt will be screwed into the support bolt. Secure the transmission dipstick to the bracket using 1/4-20 bolts, nuts, and washers.
2.The bracket will hold the coolant hose connector in place.
