How it Installation?

Step 1 :

1.Disconnect the MAF sensor and filter sensor wire from the intake.
2.Use a wrench to install the 3/8 "NPT ball valve onto the coolant filter block. Install the 3/8 "hose hook onto the ball valve. As shown in the figure, insert the 90 ⁰ hose hook into the top of the coolant block. Make sure to apply the thread sealing tape in the correct direction to all bare threads. Additionally, ensure that the valve is in the closed position.

Step 2 :

1.Release the hose clamp and pull back the intake dust cover. Then pull up the bellows, remove the baffle tube next to the passenger fender, and pull out the bellows.
2.On the passenger side, remove the two transmission cross member nuts then install the bracket and coolant block, re-use the two cross member nuts.

Step 3 :

On the passenger side of the motor, cut the lower heater hose and splice the blue "T" connector. Route the hose downwards along the outer side of the frame longitudinal beam to the filter block.

Step 4 :

1.Using a size 8 hose clamp, connect the hose to the barbed brass fitting on the side of the coolant block.
2.Prefill the filter and wet the O-ring with a petroleum lubricant.

Step 5 :

1.Use the 8 hose clamp to connect the hose to the 90 ⁰ thorny brass connector on the top of the coolant block.

Step 6 :

1.Install the bracket. The M10 bolt will be screwed into the support bolt. Secure the transmission dipstick to the bracket using 1/4-20 bolts, nuts, and washers.
2.The bracket will hold the coolant hose connector in place.
