Step 1 :

The basic principle for blocking off EGR is the same on all engines,EGR has to be blocked with steel plates on both cold and hotside. 1st block off plate goes on position where EGR manifold meets exhaust manifold. 2nd block off plate goes on position where EGR manifold meets intake manifold.

Step 2 :

Once You block off intake (cold) side, your intake manifold air volume and geometry will not be messed by EGR tubing. There will be no chance of sucking air from EGR manifold, and that way causing an air leak. Same thing is for exhaust(hot) side, your exhaust manifold geometry will be again according to factory spec.

Step 3 :

1. Next thing to do is unplugging EGR valve's electrical connector.(photo below is from CM2250/CM2350, but all other engines are similar.)
2. Now we need to unplug EGR sensors.There are two types of sensors we need to unplug: 1nd EGR differential pressure 2nd EGR temperature sensor

Step 4 :

Use the 2 bolts on the turbine manifold, install the provided baffle/mounting plate using the same holes as the bolts, reuse the bolts, accompanying nuts and washers, and tighten the front coolant pipe to the stopper bracket.

Step 5 :

Remove the position of the lower coolant pipe from the hard pipe, use one of the provided hose clamps to secure the provided hose to the hard pipe, and reconnect the large electrical connector to the new bracket. Tie any remaining wiring to the bracket to ensure that it does not Damaged.
