FITMENT

  • 2019-2024 Dodge Ram Cummins 2500 / 3500 6.7L Turbo Diesel.
  • NOTE: This kit fits standard Pickup models (Crew Cab Short/Long Bed and Mega Cab).
  • It does NOT fit commercial Cab & Chassis (4500/5500) models.

DESCRIPTION

Product Overview

  • The 19–24 6.7L Ram delivers a massive 850–1,000 lb-ft of torque, but its emissions stack chokes it with frequent P20EE SCR codes and false "derate" events that freeze truck.
  • Regens only burn soot, leaving permanent metallic ash. Because high-torque 19–24 Ram engines plug filters faster, forcing a $4k–$5k+ factory DPF replacement.
  • This 5" DP-Back system replaces everything from stock downpipe outlet to the rear bumper, replacing restrictive emissions "brick walls" with a massive 5-inch mandrel-bent pipeline.

Key Features

  • Mandrel-Bent T-409 Stainless Steel: Crafted from heavy-duty 409 SS with mandrel-bent curves to guarantee the 5" inner diameter never shrinks, maximizes flow, and resists harsh winter road salts.
  • Massive 5" Deep-Bass Airflow: Offers 56% more flow area than 4" systems, completely eliminating exhaust backpressure. It is the ultimate setup for trucks running aggressive 150+ HP tunes or towing massive loads.
  • Smart DP-Back Engineering: Bolts directly to the factory downpipe's rear flange to replace the failure-prone DPF/CAT/SCR stack and stock tailpipe. This design avoids the knuckle-busting hassle to remove the turbo housing clamp.
  • Maximum EGT Reduction: Tethers down the restrictive emission canisters where 1,200°F+ regeneration heat bakes undercarriage. Hot exhaust gases escape instantly, drastically dropping EGTs to protect turbo and head gasket under heavy stress.

FAQ

Q: I am converting my Ram 2500 from factory air suspension to aftermarket standard coil springs (Air Delete). Will this full exhaust fit then?

A: Yes. Once the bulky factory airbags and brackets are completely removed and replaced with standard coil springs, the rear axle clearance opens up perfectly, allowing this 4" or 5" full-length system to fit with zero issues.

Q: Why is a DPF delete so critical for 2019–2022 models compared to older Rams?

A: Replacement costs have skyrocketed. A factory DPF costs $4k–$5k out of pocket, and integrated DEF heaters cost 20-30% more to repair. At $558, this complete 5" system is the ultimate insurance against astronomical dealer bills, while bumping your combined fuel mileage up to a healthy 18–19 MPG.

Q: Will I need to cut this pipe during installation?

A: It depends on your wheelbase. We ship the kit with straight extension sections to cover longer wheelbases (like Crew Cab Long Bed or Mega Cab). If you drive a shorter configuration (like a Crew Cab Short Bed), you will need to trim the straight extension pipe before final clamping.

Q: Why are DPF delete and EGR delete equally important to do at the same time?

A: They protect opposite ends of your engine. The DPF delete frees the exhaust side to stop high backpressure and costly filter clogs. The EGR delete protects the intake side, preventing hot carbon soot from cycling back into cylinders to cause massive internal wear.

2021 Ram 3500 drw with 8’ box

Piping was well packed for the most part but more time could have been spent using the expanding foam as some of the tube ends were dinged and needed worked to round out. It may have been the shipping company (FedEx). I’m please with the quality of the v band flange and clamps provided. The exhaust kit fit up well! TruckTok shipped quickly and provided any needed support.

Thank you so much for your feedback and support! Due to the large dimensions and weight of exhaust pipes, shipping can be quite challenging. We are continuously upgrading and optimizing our packaging to keep products safe, but unfortunately, rough handling by courier services can still occasionally cause minor transit damage. We are actively working with our logistics partners and testing stronger protective packaging to better prevent this issue.

Towing heavy is a different experience now

2021 Ram 3500 HO dually. I pull a 42-foot toy hauler that weighs 20,000 pounds loaded. With the DPF this truck struggled on mountain grades — EGTs at 1150 and the transmission hunting. After the 5-inch delete pipe the truck holds 6th gear on grades it used to downshift on. EGTs stay under 900 and the turbo whistle tells you it is breathing free. The 5-inch diameter makes a real difference in flow at high load. Do not cheap out with a 4-inch on a heavy hauler.

Get the right tune — this engine runs lean without it

The pipe is great — 5-star quality. But you must have the delete tune installed first, and make sure it is a quality tune. My first tuner sent a generic file that made the truck run lean and surge at light throttle. Switched to a custom tune from a reputable shop and it was night and day. This is not the pipe's fault, just a heads up for anyone new to the 2019+ platform — these ECUs are more sensitive than older Cummins.

Install was straightforward — two-person job

2020 Ram 2500 crew cab. The entire system from downpipe to tailpipe took about 3 hours with a buddy. The slip joints are well-sized — the pipe slides together easily but the included band clamps pull everything tight. No cutting required on a factory downpipe system. The hardest part was pulling the factory DPF assembly out — that thing is heavy. Once it was out the TruckTok pipe went in fast.

16 to 22 mpg — and EGTs dropped 200 degrees

2022 Ram 2500 with the 68RFE. Before delete I was getting 16 mpg on my 45-mile commute. After installing this 5-inch exhaust and a tune, I am averaging 22.5 mpg on the same drive. More importantly, EGTs under load dropped from 1100 to 880 on my test grade. The factory DPF creates so much backpressure the engine is fighting itself. Removing that restriction is like untying a rope around the engine's neck.

2019 Gen 5 — perfect fit through the new chassis

The 2019+ Ram has a different frame and routing from the 2013-2018 models. Some delete pipes for the older trucks claim to fit but do not. This TruckTok pipe is clearly bent for the Gen 5 chassis. Clears the DEF tank area, clears the crossmember, clears the spare tire. All factory hanger points are used. The 5-inch tubing is 16-gauge 304 stainless and the tip is polished rolled edge. Looks factory quality.

5-inch sounds fundamentally different from 4-inch

I had a 4-inch delete pipe on my 2016 Ram and it sounded good. This 5-inch TruckTok system on my 2021 sounds different — deeper, throatier, more like a semi truck at idle. The turbo whistle is cleaner through the bigger pipe too. If you are going to spend the money on a delete, go 5-inch. It is a different sound profile entirely and you will not regret it.

2019 Ram 3500 — factory DPF was killing my CP4

2020 Ram 3500 HO with the Aisin. The 2019+ Rams have the CP4.2 pump and we all know what happens when soot-laden oil hits that pump. The factory DPF regen cycle was dumping fuel into the cylinders every 200 miles and my oil was black by 3000 miles. Installed this TruckTok 5-inch downpipe-back race pipe and a delete tune. Oil now stays amber at 7500 miles. This is a CP4 insurance policy dressed as an exhaust upgrade.

Will this work on a 2022 ram 3500 cab and chassis?

TruckTok

Fit 2019-2024 RAM 2500/3500 models. Not suitable for 2500 models with air-ride or Cab & Chassis variants.
Sorry, it's not compatible.

Can this mount to stock downpipe

TruckTok

This exhaust pipe already includes the downpipe and is directly connected to the turbocharger.
