Q: Does this Fish Tuning CSP5 switch come pre-loaded with tunes?
A: No. This is a hardware selector switch only. Your ECM must already be programmed with compatible custom CSP/SOTF tuning files before the switch can change between tune levels.
Q: Can I flash my ECM while the SOTF switch is connected?
A: No. Disconnect the switch harness from the OBD-II port before flashing new ECM files to avoid possible communication issues. Reconnect the switch after programming is complete.
Q: Will the switch keep my selected tune after turning the truck off?
A: Yes. The ECM will recognize the switch position after key cycles as long as the selected tune configuration remains programmed in the ECM.
Q: Can I use this switch without custom tuning?
A: No. The switch only selects between existing tune files programmed into the ECM. It does not create, modify, or install tuning by itself.
