Additionally, the DPF delete reduces exhaust backpressure, increasing exhaust flow and enhancing motor performance. When combined with an ECU remap, the DPF delete has been shown to increase power and torque for all vehicles.
-Installation:
Installation usually takes about 1 hour using basic hand tools in your driveway or garage, and may be done even faster with access to an automotive-style lift. You might need to do some cutting to fit shorter wheelbase bed/cab configurations. The kit comes with clamps, hangers, and hardware, but you may need to reuse some factory hardware. Just a heads up, you'll need a tuner capable of DPF delete to remove emission-related sensors and avoid any check engine light or diagnostic trouble codes.
